Jobs Connected is the ultimate events platform for job fairs, graduate school fairs, networking events, and all other events. In order to use our website and the services we provide, you must agree to the Terms of Service below in its entirety. Please read carefully.
The Jobs Connected Service
BY USING OR ACCESSING THE JOBS CONNECTED, INC. SERVICE YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
This Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy apply to your use of the jobsconnected.com Website (“Website”) and any other applications, websites and domains operated by Jobs Connected (collectively “the Jobs Connected Service” or “the Service”), as well as your relationship with Jobs Connected, Inc. (“Jobs Connected”). You must agree to these Terms of Service to use our Website and Service. Please address any questions or concerns to these terms at support@jobsconnected.com.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must stop using the Service immediately. If you agree to the Terms of Service, any violation of these Terms and conditions may result in termination of your account or subject you to other penalties under state and federal law as provided below.
You are prohibited from using the Services or registering for a Jobs Connected, Inc. account if you do not accept both the Jobs Connected Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by the TERMS. Registration for a Jobs Connected account and participation in the Service is restricted to those individuals legally permitted to accept the terms of this agreement. If you do not have the capacity to enter into a contract, do not use this Service. If you are under the age of 18, the Service is not intended for your use unless you provide written permission to use the Service in accordance with all its TERMS from your parent or lawful guardian over the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18 and do not have written authorization, Jobs Connected may delete your account and any information collected by the Jobs Connected system without notifying you.
Modification to Terms
These Terms will change over time as Jobs Connected makes improvements. Any minor changes will be posted on our website. We will notify you of any changes that may materially change your rights or privacy. Jobs Connected, Inc. reserves the right to update and change these TERMS from time to time without notice. Any new features that augment, enhance, modify, or otherwise change the Services, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the TERMS. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes. In certain cases, you may have a separate agreement with Jobs Connected, (for example if you are a hosting institution hosting events with us). In this case, the separate agreement will supersede this Terms of Service if there is any conflict between the two documents.
General Conditions
You understand that Jobs Connected, Inc. operates this Service to facilitate, through the Website, the direct, person-to-person introduction of bona fide Registrants (individuals registered for events on the Jobs Connected Service) seeking employment, educational opportunities, or networking opportunities to those offering or seeking to provide such opportunities (the “Intended Purpose”). Any conduct or interaction on the Website that appears, in our sole discretion, to be discourteous, disrespectful, distracting, discriminatory, vulgar, or not focused primarily on the Intended Purpose may result in the suspension or termination of a Registrant’s account. By way of example, but not limitation, use of the Website to make social connections with other Registrants, to make position statements, to debate particular issues (whether relevant or non-relevant), or to engage with others in any manner that creates offense or controversy in public areas of the Website or disrupts the event experience for others is contrary to the Intended Purpose. Jobs Connected, Inc. reserves the right at all times to determine, in its sole discretion, whether particular conduct conforms to the Intended Purpose of an event.
You agree that you will use the Services only for the Intended Purpose and that you will not use the Services for any illegal purposes or purposes other than the Intended Purpose. You agree that, in using the Services, you will not misrepresent your identity or intentions, modify or delete any email or communication headers or packet identifying information so as to hide or misrepresent your identity, register for an account or attend any chat session under a false identity or pseudonym or for purposes other than the Intended Purpose, or modify, adapt or hack the Website in any manner whatsoever. You agree that you will not use the Website in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden and/or impair any Jobs Connected server, or the network(s) connected to any Jobs Connected server, and/or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Website. If your account is terminated for any reason, any subsequent registration by you for any Jobs Connected event without the express, written permission of Jobs Connected, reinstating your account privileges is a breach of these TERMS. Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any Jobs Connected participant, customer, employee, member, or officer or any person with whom you interact including Attendees, Representatives, or Hosts, through or as a result of the Services or your failure to follow reasonable instructions by Jobs Connected will result in immediate account termination and may result in legal action against you.
You agree not to access the Website in any manner either directly or indirectly that is not in accordance with these TERMS including to copy or monitor any portion of the Website or any materials or other content on the Website without express written permission from Jobs Connected or the appropriate owners of such content (if not owned by Jobs Connected). You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Website or the Services except as provided herein without the express written permission by Jobs Connected.
You understand that the technical processing and transmission of the Website, including, without limitation, any information or content that you provide while using the Website, may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks and changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. You must not upload, post, host, or transmit "spam" messages via the Website or to any party with whom you have been introduced via the Website. You must not transmit worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature to Jobs Connected or to any party with whom you have been introduced via the Website.
Account Creation
You need to have an account to use Jobs Connected. There are three types of accounts you can create on Jobs Connected: an attendee account, a representative account, or a host account. Attendees are job seekers, students, professionals looking to network, and others who participate in an event by visiting the booths at the event. Representatives are employers, vendors, and others who participate in an event by having a booth at an event. Hosts are colleges/universities, employers, and other organizations that host an event. You can create an account on Jobs Connected as an attendee or representative at any time provided you over the age of 18 and legally deemed competent to enter into binding agreements, authorized by the third party, if any, that you represent, and have not been previously removed from the Service by Jobs Connected (in which case you must have express written consent of Jobs Connected to reregister with the Service). To create a host account, you must contact Jobs Connected support. You agree not to misrepresent any information about yourself in creating or using an account.
Creating an Attendee Account
Creating an Attendee Account Affiliated With an Institution Partnered With Jobs Connected:
Your university or organization may host an event with Jobs Connected. To attend the event, your university may require you to have a Jobs Connected account that is affiliated with their university. To sign up for an attendee account tied to your university or organization, make sure to select your university or organization when creating an account. After creating an account, we send an email to the email address provided to ensure that you are a current or former student of that university. You will then be able to register for any events hosted by your university and any public events.
Creating an Attendee Account Affiliated With an Institution That is Not an Institution Partner:
If a university you attend or have attended is not currently partnered with Jobs Connected, you can still indicate that you are affiliated with this university. Since the university is not partnered with Jobs Connected, there won’t be any events for this university available, but you will be able to register for any public events.
Creating an Attendee Account Not Affiliated With an Institution:
You can create an attendee account that is not affiliated with a university if you prefer. We will send an email address used to create an account to confirm that the email address you used at sign up is yours. After creating an account, you will be able to register for any public events. You can add an affiliation to a university after creating an account with a university affiliation in your account profile settings.
Creating a Representative Account
To create a Representative Account you must either associate yourself with a current organization that is registered with Jobs Connected and be approved by that organization or create a new Organization. Representatives have access to public events and any events that they are invited to attend by hosting institutions. You agree that any information you provide through account registration is accurate, current, and complete, and you agree to update your information as necessary to maintain its truth and accuracy. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to correct any misrepresentations immediately upon discovery. All organizations that register with Jobs Connected must be legitimate organizations and all representatives of an existing organization on Jobs Connected must be an active member in good standing and duly authorized to act on behalf of that organization. Any organizations found to be fraudulent or intended to take advantage of attendees (multi-level marketing companies and other similar companies) will not be allowed to use the Jobs Connected Service. Once an organization’s representative has created an account and registers on behalf of that organization for an event, the representatives will be able to view attendee data regarding visits to any booths created by the organization. The representatives may also be able to search for attendees and other representatives that have elected to share their profile. Representatives are prohibited from disclosing or sharing this information with other parties, and agree to keep this data confidential. This data is intended to allow representatives to gain insights into attendees so that you can improve your booth and materials to gain more traction for the event and source candidates (for hire if an employer or sales leads if a vendor). Representatives shall only use this data for approved purposes relating to the event and agree to not use, sell, or disclose Jobs Connected Data for any purposes including data analytics, data monetization, advertising, marketing or any other purpose even if such Jobs Connected Data is aggregated or de-identified. Representatives also agree not to use the Service to send spam or other unauthorized communications, and you agree not to use any collected data for purposes not authorized by Jobs Connected.
Choosing Who Can Seee Your Profile
Attendees and representatives are given the choice to share their profile with other attendees or representatives in the privacy settings of their account. For more information about this, please see the Privacy Policy.
Refund Policy
For events that require payment through the host institution, the host institution’s refund policy applies. For any events that require payment through Jobs Connected, attendees or representatives will be directed to pay through Stripe, Job Connected’s credit card processor. Jobs Connected does not offer refunds for any registrations, regardless of whether or not the attendee or representative fails to show up to the event or is removed from the event for violating the host institution’s policies or Jobs Connected’s Terms of Service. In certain rare circumstances, Jobs Connected may make an exception, but this is at the full discretion of Jobs Connected. You agree to not cancel any payments made to Jobs Connected via registration.
Account Guidelines
Passwords and Password Protected Areas
You may be required to register log-in and password information and to create an account in order to use certain features of the Service. Individuals attempting to access password protected areas of the Service or to gain access to accounts of others in violation of these TERMS may be subject to prosecution under state and federal law. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and password, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account, and for any other actions taken in connection with the account or password. You agree to (a) immediately notify Jobs Connected, Inc. of any known or suspected unauthorized use(s) of your password or account, or any known or suspected breach of security, including loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure of your password or personal information; and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. Jobs Connected, Inc. will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage of any kind arising from or relating to your failure to comply with (a) and (b) or for any acts or omissions by you or someone else using your account and/or password.
Please keep your content and communications on Jobs Connected Service professional. You are prohibited from posting any violent, nude, discriminatory, hateful, or sexually suggestive photos or other similar content. You are responsible for all content you upload to the Jobs Connected Website or to another website via the Service.
Jobs Connected allows you to view profiles of other attendees and representatives. You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including spam, copyright infringement, identity theft, or fraud.
Any information or content you upload directly to the Jobs Connected Service is governed by these Terms.
All information provided upon account creation must be current and accurate. You agree to update your information as necessary to maintain its truth and accuracy. You are prohibited from creating an account for anyone other than yourself, unless you have received express authorization to do so on their behalf and properly identify the owner. If you are creating an account or uploading content for another user, you are responsible for ensuring that the user for who the account is created has not been previously removed by Jobs Connected for violating the Terms and further, that the content uploaded complies with the Terms.
Your Content
Any content posted by you belongs to you. Content posted on your behalf by a third party must be expressly authorized by you in writing and that content shall belong to you. By posting this content on the Jobs Connected Service, you grant Jobs Connected a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, publicly display, publicly perform and distribute your content only in connection with the operation and use of the Jobs Connected Service.
You agree that you have the proper permissions and rights to post this content and agree to take full legal responsibility for any issues arising from use of this content including, but not limited to, infringing or misappropriating third party content (such as a logo, trademark, etc.). You agree to your best ability to not violate any laws regarding third party content usage and agree to rectify them immediately upon discovery.
Organizations and representatives of such organizations are responsible for administration of any representative accounts attached to such organizations. Organizations and its representatives are responsible for monitoring and managing this information. If representatives are no longer affiliated with the organization, it is the organization and currently affiliated representatives’ responsibility to remove their access from all of the accounts established on behalf of that organization. Jobs Connected, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, licensors, licensees, designees, business partners, contractors, agents and representatives (collectively, the “The Jobs Connected Parties”) will not be responsible for, and you hereby expressly release the The Jobs Connected Parties from any and all liability for the action of any and all third parties with respect to your Content.
Content Submitted By Others
Through the use of the Service, you may be able to search and filter attendee and representatives participating in events for which you are registered. You agree to use this data only for networking purpose directly related to the event (for example, if you are a representative attending a job fair and are using the search feature to look for candidates, you are to only use this data to source candidates, not to sell them products). You are also prohibited from sharing any of their information without their express permission.
Jobs Connected Intellectual Property
Trademark
All Jobs Connected content, including but not limited to name, trademark, logo, and its Service belong to Jobs Connected. “Jobs Connected” and other identifying trade names, trademarks, and service marks on the Website are the registered trademarks or service marks, trade names, or unregistered trademarks of Jobs Connected, Inc. and are the exclusive property of Jobs Connected, Inc. (“Jobs Connected, Inc. Trademarks”). Use of the Jobs Connected, Inc. Trademarks without express, written permission is strictly prohibited.
Copyright
All content included on the Service, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, the “look and feel” of the Service, and the compilation of all content on the Service, is the exclusive property of Jobs Connected, Inc. or its content providers and protected by United States and international copyright laws. Any unauthorized use, copying, reproduction, distribution, modification, downloading, display, mirroring, framing, or transmittal (in any form or by any means, including but not limited to electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or any other means now known or hereafter discovered), of any Service content is strictly prohibited. Nothing in these TERMS shall be construed as conferring any license or other grant of right to use any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property of Jobs Connected, Inc. or any third party except as expressly set forth herein. If you believe that any Website content breaches a copyright you own, please address your concerns immediately to Jobs Connected, Inc. at support@jobsconnected.com.
Recording of Jobs Connected Communications
You agree to not record other individuals in any way while using the Jobs Connected Service unless provided with express permission from those individuals. In some cases, hosts may elect to have the video chat sessions of booths recorded (to have booth session content available for attendees after the event or for other reasons). It is the host’s responsibility to make it clear to all event participants that these sessions will be recorded and Jobs Connected recommends having clear verbiage on the registration, marketing, and event landing pages. Jobs Connected uses Zoom for video chat sessions and Zoom displays markings to participants when a session is being recording. It is the host’s responsibility manage and protect these recordings. You do not hold Jobs Connected responsible for how these recordings are handled or any issues that may arise from having sessions recorded. Your use of the Service signifies acceptance of this release of liability. It is the obligation of all organizations, representatives and Registrants to determine whether a host is recording their conversations. Jobs Connected shall not be liable for any damages sustained by any user of the Service as a result of a recording made by a host or the dissemination of such recording whether by a host or other third party whether or not acting on behalf of such host.
Account and Website Security and Integrity
Jobs Connected makes great efforts to maintain a high level of security for its users. You agree not to change or modify the Jobs Connected Service or Website in any way to falsely imply that it is associated with another website. You are prohibited from creating accounts using scripts, bots, or automated crawlers, as well as from collecting content through crawling, scraping, or caching of user profiles without our express consent.
Monitoring
Jobs Connected use cookies and store other information, such as IP addresses from users to monitor user behavior on the Service, bolster security, and assess service functionality. Jobs Connected reserves the right to suspend, ban, or take other action against any users exhibiting malicious behavior. You accept this monitoring and agree not to engage in any behavior that could be harmful to the Service or other users.
Third Party Links
Our Service contains links to third-party websites, apps, services and resources (collectively “Third-Party Services”) that are not under Jobs Connected’s control. Links to third-party websites may be offered on the Service as a convenience to users on the express condition that third-party websites are not owned or controlled by Jobs Connected, Inc., and Jobs Connected, Inc. does not endorse and is not responsible for their content and makes no representation as to the accuracy of such information or that any such third-party website contains appropriate material or may be accessed or used without harm. You acknowledge sole responsibility and assume all risk arising from your use of any Third-Party Services.
Violation and Enforcement of These Terms
Jobs Connected reserves the right to take any action necessary to enforce these terms, including deactivating and deleting accounts, banning users, and other measures. If necessary, Jobs Connected may take legal action to enforce these terms
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service and all Jobs Connected content, is provided on an “as is”, “as available” and “with all faults” basis. To the fullest extent permissible by law, neither Jobs Connected nor any of its employees (“The Jobs Connected Parties”), disclaim all warranties. The Jobs Connected Parties do not represent or warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, without defects, or that the Service or the server that makes the service available is free from any harmful components, including, viruses. You acknowledge that your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Jobs Connected parties do not warrant that your use of the service is lawful in any particular jurisdiction, and the Jobs Connected parties specifically disclaim such warranties. Some jurisdictions limit or do not allow the disclaimer of implied or other warranties so the above disclaimer may not apply to you to the extent such jurisdiction’s law is applicable to you and these Terms of Service. By accessing or using the service you represent and warrant that your activities are lawful in every jurisdiction where you access or use the service. The Jobs Connected Parties disclaim any responsibility or liability to any person or entity for any loss, damage (whether actual, consequential, punitive or otherwise), injury, claim, liability or other cause of any kind or character based upon or resulting from any content or usage of the Service. Users hereby give any consents required by law for the services to operate as set forth in these Terms of Service.
Limitation of Liability; Waiver and Indemnification
Unless you are a US federal government agency, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jobs Connected, Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, co-branders, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Website or the Services, including, but not limited to, any content you submit, post to or transmit through the Website, your use of the Services, your violation of these TERMS, or your violation of any rights of another. If you are a US federal government agency, liability for any breach of the TERMS or any claim arising from the TERMS shall be determined under the Federal Tort Claims Act or other governing federal authority, including, without limitation, any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Website or the Services.

MAKES NO WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION THAT (i) THE WEBSITE AND ANY SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE WEBSITE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (ii) THE WEBSITE AND ANY SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (iii) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE WEBSITE AND ANY SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE WEBSITE WILL BE EFFECTIVE, ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, (iv) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR INFORMATION OBTAINED BY YOU FROM THE WEBSITE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, AND (v) ANY ERRORS IN THE SOFTWARE ACCESSED VIA THE WEBSITE WILL BE CORRECTED.

Jobs Connected, Inc. may make changes to the Website and the services offered through the Website at any time, without notice. Jobs Connected, Inc. makes no commitment to update or maintain any materials on the Website. Jobs Connected, Inc. assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in the information, materials, software and/or services which are provided through referenced by or linked to the Service. In no event shall Jobs Connected, Inc. or its licensors or suppliers by liable to you or any third party for any special, punitive, incidental, indirect or consequential damages of any kind, or any damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, those resulting from loss of use, data or profits, whether or not Jobs Connected, Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages, and regardless of the theory of liability, whether in contract, negligence or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website or of any website referenced or linked to or from the Service. The use of the Service or the downloading or other acquisition of any materials through the Website is done at your own discretion and risk and with your agreement that you will be solely responsible for any damages to your computer system or loss of data that results from such activities. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from Jobs Connected, Inc. or through or from the Service shall create any warranty not expressly stated in this agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of the above limitations of this section may not apply to you.
By using this Service, you agree to release the Jobs Connected parties of any liability for losses and damages of any kind due to directly or indirectly using the Service or Jobs Connected content. You also agree to indemnify the Jobs Connected parties and hold them harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, arising out use of the Service.

Governing Law
Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of the state of Georgia. Unless you are a US federal government agency, any lawsuit filed by either party to enforce or construe any right granted under these TERMS or to assert any claim arising from the services provided by Jobs Connected, Inc. through the Website shall be filed exclusively in the State of Georgia in Fulton County. In connection with any such action, you consent to jurisdiction in the Courts of Georgia. In any such action, you agree that the laws of the State of Georgia shall apply and shall govern the determination of the action, regardless of any conflicts of law. If you are a US federal government agency, the TERMS shall be governed by and interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of the United States of America without reference to conflict of laws. To the extent permitted by federal law, the laws of the State of Georgia (excluding Georgia’s choice of law rules) will apply in the absence of applicable federal law.
No Waiver
No delay, indulgence, or failure to take any action, or exercise any right that Jobs Connected, Inc. may take or exercise pursuant to the TERMS, Jobs Connected, Inc. Privacy Policy or applicable law shall constitute a waiver of that action or right by Jobs Connected, Inc.
No Assignment
These Terms, and any rights and licenses granted hereunder, may not be transferred or assigned by you, but may be assigned by Jobs Connected, Inc. without restriction. Any attempted transfer or assignment in violation hereof shall be null and void.
Entire Agreement
By using the Service, you are agreeing to these Terms and acknowledge that you have read and understand them. If you are using the Service on behalf of another legal entity organization, you affirm that you are authorized to enter into an agreement on behalf of that legal entity. These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and Jobs Connected and governs your use of the Service, unless you have a separate signed agreement with Jobs Connected that states it supersedes this Terms of Service.
